Painting Techniques for CPI-207
 
NOTE: Antique means Apply one coat & wipe back with a clean wet sponge, leaving color primarily only in the creases & detail areas. HL means highlight with a light coat of specified color to raised areas. Float means apply thinned specified color to recessed areas using a square shader with color on half of the brush.
Instructions for all pieces: Fire bisque to cone 04. 
Finishing Instructions for all pieces: All finished with Mayco Glazes. After piece is completely dry, apply clear glaze of choice according to manufacturers instruction & fire to cone 06.

Float SC-13 Grapel from scales & creases. Sand: 2 coats SC-42 Butter Me Up; Apply 2 coats SP-254 Speckled Vanilla Dip. Float SC-25 Cracker Jack to deep areas. Necklace, Belt & Braclet: SC-13 Grapel & SC-17 Cheeky Pink. Seahorse: Apply 3 coats SC-53 Purple Haze (don’t cover up all the antiquing). Wipe raised areas back. HL SC-30 Blue Dawn. Blush belly, neck, cheek & brow SC-61 Raspberry Mauve. Paint eyes SC-16 Cotton Tail, SC-28 Blue Isle, SC-9 Jaded & SC-15 Tuxedo. Rock: Apply 2 coats SC-35 Gray Hare.
