NOTES for glazed finishing: Fire bisque to cone 04. Float means apply thinned specified color to recessed areas using a square shader with color on half of the brush. Finish means, after piece is completely dry, apply clear glaze of choice according to manufacturers instruction & fire to cone 06.

Speckled Birds: While in greenware cut hole on back and under wing feathers. Fire to an 04 cone. To Male- apply 3 Coats PC-501 Terracotta all over & inside. To Female- apply 3 coats PC-501 Terracotta inside, on beak, around holes & tail feather creases. To both- Paint eyes & nostrils with 3 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo. Apply AC- 302 Wax Resist on eyes beak, around holes & in tail creases. Apply 3 Coats EL-108 Jade Moss. Nests- Apply 3 coats EL-207 Gold Mine. Fire to an 06 Cone. Blue Birds: Apply 3 coats E-820 Honey Bear to Beak Apply AG-410 Black Lustre to eyes. Cover eyes & beak with AC-302 Wax Resist. Apply 3 Coats E-968 Mountain Mist to birds Fire to an 05 cone.
3842 Wooden Shoe
Wood Look: Mix SC-74 Hot Tomale & SC-210 Roll-a-Coat and roll around inside till completely covered. Apply 3 coats SC-46 Rawhide. Lightly make wood grain with fan brush and SC-51 Poo Bear & SC-14 Java. Apply 3 coats SC-74 Hot Tomale to toe. Paint on windmill & designs using SC-52 Toad-aly Green, SC-75 Orange-a-Peel, SC-74 Hot Tomale & SC-15 Tuxedo. Fire to an 06 Cone. Delft Look: BC inside & out with 3 coats PC-501 Terracotta. Apply 3 coats S-2565 Cloud White to the outside. Paint on designs with SC-12 Moody Blue. Fire to an 06 Cone.

Paint accessories with SC-65 Peri-Twinkle, SC-1 Pink-a-Boo, SC-37 ivory Tower & SC-15 Tuxedo as pictured Finish. String together with wire.

Cut holes in greenware. Fire at an 04. Apply 3 coats PC-501 Terracotta to plaque & pots. Apply AC-302 Wax Resist to edges & back of plaque. Apply 3 coats of SC-27 Sour Apple & SC-7 Leaping Lizard to plaque top. Paint flowers & Accent plaque by lightly painting flowers & leaves with SC-42 Butter me up & SC-27 Sour Apple. Finish. Watering can & spade: Apply MM-106 Steel Metallic to Watering can & spade. When dry spray with MM-305 Rapid Rust allow time to rust & spray MM-502 Matte Sealer when desired look is achieved. Paint Handle #906 Cocoa Brown. DB #940 Toffee. String together with wire.
