NOTE: BC means Basecoat; DB means drybrush: HL means Highlight; WB means drybrush heavily NOTE: Materials needed to finish a piece are highlighted in bold print the first time they are used.

Note: CP-001 Pottery Snowman kit comes with all the glazes required to make approximately 10 Sm Pottery Snowmen or 5 X-Lg snowmen.
Cut stars in greenware. Fire bisque to witness cone 04. Apply 2 coats 50/50 mixture of PC-503 Khaki Pottery Coat & PC-502 Speckled Buff Pottery Coat. Dry. Apply OS1 Mirror Black to eyes & mouth. Apply AC-302 Wax Resist to face & hands. Apply watered down OS8 Briar Wood creases in nose & coat.  Apply watered down OS4 Chinese Blue to creases in scarf. Apply 3 coats S-2151 Blue Lagoon to scarf. Apply 3 coats of EL-109 Blue Ridge to coat. Apply 3 coats EL-119 Burnished Steel to hat & buttons. Dab coat & scarf with PC-602 White Cascade.  Apply 3 coats S-2566 Almond to rest of snowman. Dry. Dab PC-601 Clear Cascade to almond coated areas. Apply 1 coat S-2101 Natural Clear to everything except wax-resist areas. Fire to cone 06. (Glaze ornament hat the same as penguins hat-instructions below)
 
Toll Painted Snowman: Snowman: BC #907 Caramel, WB #900 White Float #946 Whisper Blue. Blush with #913 Blush. Coat: BC #943 Barn red WB  #910 Scarlet red. Scarf: #918 Forest Green & #919 Clover Green. Hat & Gloves: #902 Black & #972 Silver. Toll Painting: #910 Scarlet Red, #918 Forest Green, #919 Clover Green #923 Intense Blue, #907 Caramel, #931 Medium Yellow, #930 Sun Ray, #946 Whisper Blue, #900 White & #902 Black.

If desired, cut stars while in greenware, fire to cone 04.  Red Santas (Blue or Green): Apply 3 coats of 50/50 mixture PC-501 Terracotta & PC-502 Speckled Buff. Let dry between coats. Apply OS1 Mirror Black to eyes.  Apply AC-302 Wax Resist to faces, hands, buttons & edges of star cut-outs. To coat & top of hat apply 1 coat S-2170 Bright Red. (or Blue Santa: S-2588 True Blue & Green Santa: S-2562 Canton Jade) & apply 2 coats S-2144 Clarret (or Blue Santa: S-2115 Tahiti Blue Green Santa: S-2158 Green Sapphire). To fur & beard apply 3 coats S-2566 Almond. To basket & bag apply 3 coats S-2161 Golden Oak. To tree apply 1 coat S-2562 Canton Jade & 2 coats S-2156 Evergreen Fir. To lantern apply EL-119 Burnished Steel. Dab PC-602 White Cascade to everything except beard & wax-resist areas, lantern & beard.  Apply 1 coat S-2101 Natural Clear to everything except wax-resist areas & lantern. Fire to cone 06.
 
Toll Painted Santas all: wetbrush fur #907 Caramel & #953 Vanilla; float watered down #951 Navajo around edges.  Wetbrush beards #926 Country Blue, #904 Lt Grey & #900 White. BC faces #951 Navajo; wetbrush #909 Gentle flesh; blush #913 Blush. Paint Irises #925 Medium Blue; pupils & lashes #902 Black.  Gloves #903 Smoke & #926 Country Blue. Apply 3 coats of 50/50 mixture PC-501 Terracotta & PC-502 Speckled Buff. Let dry between coats. Apply OS1 Mirror Black to eyes.
Apply SC-74 Hot Tomale & SC-16 Cottontail to candy cane.  Apply AC-302 Wax Resist to beaks, eyes feet & candy cane. Apply 3 coats S-2566 Almond to tummy, face & ball of hat. Apply three coats EL-120 Black Ice to wings & back. To hat; Apply 1 coat S-2170 Bright Red & apply 2 coats S-2144 Clarret. Dab PC-602 White Cascade to red & white areas. Fire at an 06 cone.
 
3873 Flip Flop Ornaments (4) 2.5” l
Apply OS3 Lip Red to straps. Apply OS6 Foliage Green to edge of Flip flops. Draw flowers with OS3 Lip Red, SC-74 Hot Tomale & OS6 Foliage Green. Apply 2 coats SC-24 Dandelion to strap middle & flower centers. Dip in dipping glaze of your choice. Fire to an 06 cone.
